We're busily getting ready to head out on our grand tour, which will take a month and see us through 15 states, 13 national parks, and assorted national monuments, state parks, and other points of interest.
Sunday night we had some dry runs on equipment, setting up our tent and blowing up our sleeping pads to make sure everything is in working order. Yesterday we used some of our gift cards at Target, stocking up on bug spray, wet wipes, bobby pins, etc - you know, the essentials. Today we're ironing out itinerary details, vacuuming out the car, and printing off every conceivable map and FAQ sheet. Whew.
In fact, I've got to go get back at it. More later.
